Our ethical hosting service

We offer our clients a range of hosting options to balance their ethical policies with their business needs.

PICSERV Basic

We source our basic hosting package from a supplier that makes a commitment to recycling, paperless working systems and WEEE regulated hardware disposal and to a substantial tree planting programme each year through, for example, sponsorship of the International Tree Foundation. This helps to offset the carbon output of the hosting service. 

Our supplier also makes use of a managed power system to ensure that idle hardware does not consume energy resources unnecessarily. A cold aisle containment system is also utilised, completely separating hot and cold air flows and improving cooling efficiency by up to 40%, further reducing the environmental footprint of the hosting.

PICSERV PRO

Dedicated server hosting using renewable energy sources is also available for clients with multiple sites or more complex hosting needs but for whom ethical standards are still a key consideration.
