We are Matt & Ali Kay and our brand development studio Piction Media delivers design artistry and purposeful prose to leading design agencies and creative industry professionals.
Matt has 17 years experience as a leading digital illustration expert for international brands and design agencies. As a practicing illustrator he is also represented by London-based agency Advocate Art. His editorial illustrations have featured in The Spectator, Graphics International, The Big Issue and various FT specialist publications.
I have been writing specialist content for varied and international audiences for 15 years. As an independent non-fiction writer, I also have a diverse publications list ranging from rubber to genetic crop modification. I recently published The Foundations of Female Entrepreneurship (Taylor and Francis: Routledge, 2009), an academic and peer reviewed monograph based on my PhD research. I mostly write about creative sector businesses, small & micro business and the history of business life.
